The eldest daughter of Louise Walker McCannel and Daniel Defenbacher, Teri McCannel Lamb Motley graduated from Northrop Collegiate School in Minneapolis, Minnesota (1961), Radcliffe College (1965), and Andover Newton Theological School (2000).
